Researchers take on Expired makeup

 

 In a study that was conducted at London Metropolitan University where different makeup products were tested that were close to their expiry date, a senior lecturer named Dr. Paul Matewele suggested that “The products tested have been tested positive for Enterococcus faecalis”.  Enterococcus faecalis as explained in science causes meningitis and septicaemia by the deadly strain of bacteria. It is so deadly that it can cause newborn kids to die as well. Studies show that one in five women use expired products past their expiry date. 

 

A similar study was conducted by the same university by scientists in which they explained how expired products contain lethal  bacteria, eubacterium that can also cause bacterial vaginosis. Furthermore they also added that the usage of expired makeup can also  cause Aeromonas  which is the main cause of wound infections. It can additionally also cause propionibacterium

which can lead to acne prone skin and other skin conditions.
